Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows what plant this is?

Can I trim it? It is getting too tall!

Thanks

Looks like a camellia to me

Not a great picture. Could you take a closer up one of the leaves? Has it had any flowers?

PlantNet is a great free app to identify things

I"m squinting a bit to see what the leaves are like from the pic but I would say it's a rhododendron.

Thanks everyone. I will take another picture 😊

Pittosporum crassifolium ?

Pittosporum tobira, also commonly known as Japanese Cheesewood or Japanese Mock Orange.
At least that's what Google said when I searched the image

Thank you everyone. Can I trim it?

In my experience, you can trim virtually anything (some conifers aren't great for side trimming but even those can usually be shortened).
