when i moved into my house my decision was made partly due to my neighbours garden very kept beautiful roses and NO weeds bliss for several years then unfortunately due to illness they moved now i have a neighbour who has let the garden go weeds everywhere roses dug up and parts of a car sprewn all over the lawn!!! i have spoken to him about the weeds encroaching into my garden his answer its not his top priority and i feel since my talk with him he has deliberately let the garden become a BIGGER mess this is stressing me out any advice greatly appreciated thnks

You can’t control next doors’ garden. If there is debris that is causing pests then you can report to council, but just because you don’t like the look of it doesn’t mean you can change it. Also ‘weeds’ can have good biodiversity benefit for nature - and are far preferable to astroturf/gravel.

You can trim the weeds back to the boundary. You can only worry about your own property when it comes to the garden, unless there's some sort of hazard to report.
