Please talk to me about composting

I would like to try composting, no idea where to start, my garden is small.

Ooooh composting is fab. You can buy quite compact upright composting bins - we have one that looks a bit like a dalek. Not particularly beautiful but it does the job. Or garden is quite small too.

Would also recommend a covered pot to have in the kitchen for peeling etc. to save you popping outside every 2 minutes.

Beware, its addictive.

I tried and failed at composting. I filled up an entire compost bin in about a fortnight, and it took so long to decompose, I would have needed about 6 of them to take all my waste. I also have a tiny garden.
