Hi- I'm looking to have a greenhouse 8' x 10 - 8' x 12' for my allotment.
It will be free standing on a soil base (not allowed to put a concrete slab down) but could put concrete in holes for base pegs iyswim
Its a fairly open site, no natural wind breaks
Im stuck in choosing between polycarbonate and toughened glass
neighbours have a mix and no-one seems willing to point out the benefits/deficits of their choices ( I get the impression no-one wants to be 'responsible' for my decision) one neighbour has a polytunnel and he says very confidently that he wishes he'd never installed it- its not fit for purpose in his opinion but he's stuck with it.
can anyone suggest what may be the best option? budget around £1500
