I grew this for the first time this year and absolutely love it. Not fully hardy but it has loved life in an urn in full sun.
Such a pretty blue and the bees like it too.

Did you grow from seed?

I bought plug plants from ebay but Sarah Raven sell it as 9cm plants.
Planted it in the urn (sheltered and south facing) in early april and it did really well straight away. Started flowering in may and still going strong now.
It can over winter if you have a greenhouse but otherwise is treated as an annual in the UK.

I think it’s often sold as small ‘tub or basket’ plants, so you see it as part of a mix - but you’ve shown it’s stunning by itself OP!

Love it! Do you find it tolerates low-watering?

It is drought tolerant if in the ground but as mine is in a fairly shallow urn in full sun I keep it watered in hot weather.
