2 and 3 look like verbena bonariensis to me.

Agree about verbena bonariensis - there's some growing between the slabs in my patio.

I'd love to know why verbena always self seeds in the front of my borders not in the middle or the back!

These are geum leaves, and some of my verbena for good measure.

It's not even meant to be there, I had a load of pots of ones I'd pulled up out of the gravel drive - which all died, but I found out the next summer had self seeded into that area. They are so nice I've just left them.
