Late hanging baskets

Our neighbours underestimated the amount of watering that pots and hanging baskets needed, and everything is dead!
Is there anything that I can plant now (from a nursery) that will give colour into late autumn? Or am I better waiting and going for winter flowering pansies?
We are a bit gutted!

I would also be interested in this, having let my own baskets die 🤦

Our local B&Q were selling off planted up hanging baskets really cheaply yesterday.

Is the basket redeemable? I gave mine a good soak in the kitchen sink on Sunday and deadheaded it thoroughly and it seem to have perked up a bit.
