Those who use grey water

I had a flowering Californian poppy that has been dug up and disappeared overnight.

Is this because I used washing up water to water it? Something to do with food in the water or just random?

I don't know what has dug up the plant, but it will be absolutely nothing to do with the water.

Front or back garden ?

I noticed the hole when I hung washing out this morning.

It didn't click that the poppy had gone until I went to water the border later!

Looks like a fox. Are you sure the poppy isn’t just buried , or has it been kicked in the air, look around in the place where soil would have landed.

fox cubs are out at this time of year and love digging things up just for the fun of it. that is probably the culprit.
