What to do with this euphorbia?

Lots of the leaves and stems are going brown. I dead-headed one of the stems a few weeks ago and that just seemed to kill the stem. Is it worth cutting it to the ground? I don’t want to lose it!

Does it need watering?

Maybe? But they seem so tough usually. And it has finished flowering. Maybe I’ll take a risk, cut it to the ground and see what happens.

Those are the flowering stems for next year. If you cut it right back it may regrow, but it won’t flower. To be honest they can look a bit ropeythistime of year. They aren’t very long lived either.

Cut any of the stems which flowered right to the ground. The remaining stems will grow and bear flowers next spring.

Thank you. When you say “flowered”, sorry if this is a silly question but I can’t remember which stems did flower (I can see leaves on those stems but they’re not flowers?)

Just cut the brown stems off, give it a good watering and it will put new shoots up.

None of those stems have faded flowers on them. Flowers would be at the tip of the stem and be browny yellow now.
