Storing bulbs

Thinking about storing dug up tulip, iris and daffodil bulbs.
Ive let them dry out a bit, will wipe off excess dirt and considering putting them in paper bags in the shed.
Need I do anything more sophisticated like storing in straw/ newspaper which I think I’ve heard of before?

Keep them dry but not so hot that they shrivel up.

Ok, will check on them occasionally

I’ve put mine on a shelf in the garbage but I’m sure those pesky mice will have feasted in them before the Autumn!
