I need some plant ideas for circular beds please!

I have three circular beds each with a tree in the centre, and I need some plant ideas for them if anyone could recommend some for me please.

I am toying with either
1)planting all three beds exactly the same, or
2) giving each bed it's own colour scheme or theme

Ideally, I would like year round interest, I don't want empty flower beds in the winter months.
Soil is loamy, and things seem to grow well in it, I have geums and heuchera which I do like. What else would look nice?

Any ideas/inspiration would be much appreciated, thank you!

We only have one with a gnarly old apple in the middle. We’ve planted it with English lavender this year, having had lots of mistakes in the past. So far, it’s looking lovely and I’m hoping it’ll become dense and ‘hedgy’ in time.

Which cultivar of lavender do you have @Highsmithery ?
