Green stuff in compost?

Going to plant my tomatoes in their final pots and notice some green stuff in the John Innes compost.
Almost looks like algae. Am I ok to go ahead and plant in this?

How long have you had that compost and where did you get it from? It doesn't look like decent compost at all.

I agree it looks like rotted bark rather than veg compost.

It’s actually Westland with John Innes added; can’t remember if it’s from garden centre or Sainsbury’s.
