Support for wall-climbing rose

I want to plant a climbing rose to go up the wall of our house (white painted brickworks). What’s the best option? I’d prefer something as unobtrusive as possible. DIY wire trellis? Something else?? What have you used?

Screw vine eyes into the wall and run wires horizontally between them.

I tend to use this sort of thing - it’s a very easy tension wire system that is unobtrusive and has been supporting clematis, wisteria and roses for over 10 years so far with no wear and tear.

@MoistVonL perfect - that's exactly the kind of thing I was after. As I didn't think I needed something as the more elaborate/ strong tensioned wire trellis we're setting up for espaliered fruit trees. Thanks
