some lettice doing well, some not. Rocket also

Hi. I have about 4 lettice plants in the ground outside. 2 of them are doing really well but the other 2 are looking frail and wimpy looking, why is this? They are in the same bed so can't be the soil.

Also my rocket has grown but not getting any bigger and the leaves are quite small.

I think some seeds are just not as good as others strawberries. Maybe you should plant a few more. I'm no expert but I know that some seeds you need to plant 2 or 3 together as not all will succeed. As for the rocket, maybe you should pick some and see if it grows more. It does seem quite early though, so maybe just plant a few more of them too and see what happens.
