Raspberries help?!

I have had a potted raspberry plant since last summer but it's not growing any raspberries, it just grew really high and long and now ended up growing into the ground as a separate raspberry bush! How do I get the raspberries to actually grow? I have an awful garden which most things die in but to see just one raspberry would make me so happy 😂

It needs to be planted properly in the ground. Raspberries require annual pruning. When to prune depends on whether it's a summer or autumn fruiting variety. Do you know the name of the raspberry?

No idea what it's called, I'll plant in the ground when the ground isn't so hard, maybe next year I will finally see a raspberry then that will have been a 3 year wait 😂 thank you

Raspberry plants usually fruit during July and end Sept/beginning of October. Water them with tomato feed in the water.

Oh this is interesting. I have a raspberry plant which is in a giant pot. I got a few rasps the first year but nothing last year. Maybe I will try planting it in garden then.

Some plants don't like being in a pot.
A relative keeps complaining that a flowering plant never flowers and I keep saying it won't in a pot.
