Am exploring a public garden and came across these 2 shrubs that I quite like.

Can anyone ID?

First one looks like a moss rose. Don't know the second.

I used my plant app. It says the first one is Rugosa rose and the second is pink rock-rose.

Definitely Rosa Rugosa; lovely scent and big fat hips in the autumn. ‘Rock rose’ is used for a few different plants, this one looks like a cistus.

The first one looks like one of mine -
Rubus spectabilis aka Salmonberry

Thanks! My plant app is rubbish, the first few possibilities include Madeira cranesbill which looks nothing like the deep pink flowering one. Think it does look like R Rugosa.
