Just received some dianthus “Green Wicky” plants and their stems can’t support their weight so they are flopping over the side of their pots. Should I plant them burying more stem? Would be very gratefup for advice please!

I dont know this plant at all but my instinct would be to cut the plant right back and let it regrow.

It looks like it has been in a dark box in the post awhile and needs time to recover.

Thank you both. It will flower quite soon so I don’t want to cut it back and miss that. I don’t think it suffered in the post particularly, but the stem does not support it.
