Tulip disaster!

I planted quite a few tulip bulbs in pots last year and something’s gone wrong. Two of the pots have flowered but are a bit underwhelming, and there are no flowers in the third.

many of the leaves have turned a purplish colour which a quick google makes me think is a shortage of some nutritients.

i’ve never thought I feed bulbs before - should I do this next time? The daffs and muscari have all done well with little attention!

Thanks for any help.

Tulip fire. You need to discard and replace the compost. I had the same experience with a couple of pots that's year, others were fine.
