Indoor daffodil bulbs. Can I do anything with them?

My kids bought ma a lovely pot/basket type thing with flowering daffodils for Mother’s Day. Looked lovely for a week or so but now looks desperate! Daffs are all well and truly dead. Can I keep the bulbs and repot them? Can I plant them outside? If so, how do I go about it?

Thank you in advance.

Yes they can be planted. Just pick a spot where you want them to be, dig a hole, stick them in and give them a good watering.
Don’t cut the leaves off, they will look a state for ages but they need them to store energy to flower next year.

@TheyreThreeTheyreSixTheyreNineandTen thank you! Can I do that now? If so, do I plant/bury the whole thing? Wilted stems and all?

Yes exactly. The leaves will wither and next year they will come as a nice surprise as you will forgotten you planted them or is that just me
