Pulmonaria taking over

I have some lovely pulmonaria but it is rather taking over all the neighbouring plants. I’m thinking it will be ok to divide a bit off and shift it? I don’t want to kill it off.
Anybody done this successfully at this time of year? Google says to do it in autumn or early spring but I can’t wait that long.

Agree. Pulmonaria is very robust. Hauling some of it up at the 'wrong' time of year has never done mine any harm.

Is it lots of separate clumps? I just pull out some of those if it gets a bit much. I have never tried actually transplanting it though.

Yes it's tough as old boots. Just pull it up now from the places you don't want it.
You could wait until it has stopped flowering because it is so loved by bees, but if you do then pull it up as soon as you can after that. It's a lovely plant but you need to be the boss of it!
