Cat deterrent for veg plot

It's a classic problem... everyone has dogs so ours is the garden where they choose to poo in. I grow veg and they obviously like my potato ridges...

Has anyone a good recommendation for one of those machines? Would prefer one that doesn't bleep though when I'm down there weeding

I've looked on Amazon and there are so many and at such wildly different prices...I thought I'd ask some fellow gardeners for suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

(Need a machine... it's a big garden with lots of access points so I can't use anti cat tape. And I can't get a dog as don't want one! )

Holly clippings?

I use black butterfly netting on our veg beds because, amongst other animals, we get foxes digging there. Soft, black netting supported by canes or willow can be quite discrete.

I’ve resorted to exactly this, my cats wouldn’t stay off my new raised bed, I’m hoping next year it will be less of a novelty.

Lion poo? I don’t know if it works though.

we do this too, and also sometimes lay bamboo canes in a crisscross pattern over the top of the raised beds.

Another option is citrus peel. Cats don’t like it and as it rots it feeds the soil.
However, I think netting is probably the best on a veg bed.
