I've had this plant in a pot in my garden for a few years. I bought it randomly in Sainsbury's years ago and from what I remember the picture on the tag had little coloured flowers growing on the tips of the stems. I cannot remember if I even looked at the name.

It's never flowered for me but has grown and survived wintering outside (UK). This year it looks to have little flower buds coming.

I would like to research it so I can look after it properly but I have no idea what it is. It is NOT lavender or rosemary, which is what Google lense keeps throwing up.

I would be so grateful if any of you could identify it for me.

Lavender

My plant ID app thinks it’s coastal rosemary or coast rosemary, which looks right to me!

Plant Net says Helianthemum (rock rose).

It is a helianthemum. I recognised it straight away but couldn't remember the damned name of it so had to look in a book.
