Lawn care subscriptions

I’ve worked really hard on my lawn recently, having always neglected it. I don’t expect a totally weed/moss free lawn but given we’ve had issues with leather jackets, moss, bald patches, weeds etc it would be lovely to have a green lawn! I have asked local companies if they would do a maintenance plan such as green thumb type company but as we do not have side access and work full time it’s proving really difficult to organise. Has anyone used a DIY lawn subscription service? I’ve looked at both the lawn pack and one called so and mo. I don’t mind doing the work myself if it’ll keep some of the lawn negatives to a minimum. Thanks!

We don’t use any service. But in terms of maintenance, I rake it, seed it and dig out any big weeds by hands. But to keep it looking really green we use a product you dilute and water onto the lawn. It’s really good and i’d highly recommend it! I used green thumb on my old house and would say it wasn’t worth the money.

Great thank you. How often do you use this?

I use it every six weeks or so starting from May. Hope that helps.

I think the trouble with subscriptions is that you pay for postage on every delivery (even if it's included in the cost of the product itself). Relentless Gardener do a yearly kit with a calendar - though you would need to store the products in an air-tight container throughout the year.
