Hello all. I havent posted for a while but I'm looking for some advice, please.

I have two pretty pots which sit in my front garden.

One is 28 cms high and 30 cms wide (measured across the top not the bottom)

The other is 25 cms high and 23 cms wide (measured across the top not the bottom)

Both pots are in full sun

I'm looking for small evergreen plants to plant in these pots but everything I find seems to grow so large!

Any advice?

TIA

So cut them! Get your secateurs out and create some topiary.
The smaller the leaf, the better the topiary. See here.

All you need to know about growing and pruning topiary, in our guide.

Bear in mind growth will be limited by the root restriction in a pot, and most evergreens can and should be pruned. I used to have some small-leaved variegated euonymus which stayed quite compact. I also like pieris, use ericaceous compost and feed for that.

The size of the pot will help to restrict grow, but anything will eventually need to be repotted.
What about holly? Or Choisa? Sarcococca?
Rosemary & lavender like full sun & are evergreen.
