This is a shrub about 5'-6' tall, maybe 4' wide. The flowers are in clusters and covered in bees. They smell very similar to jasmine.

Yes I think it looks like viburnum too. The one that smells gorgeous is burkwoodii I think. Does it smell beautiful OP?

Oh it smelled gorgeous!

I also thought viburnum from the leaf and flower shapes, but the fragrance was utterly different to the smell of my viburnum. Also mine is evergreen, but this one looked like it was just putting out new leaves.
