Gardener or groundworker?

Approximately one third of my lawn requires work. There are bumps and hollows in this part which make it quite unsafe to walk on. It wouldn't be the first time my foot has disappeared down one of the hollows when I've been walking on the lawn and I've nearly fallen. The part that requires work is probably about 40ft long by 20ft wide.

What I need to do is to employ someone to come and dig up the existing grass in this part and level out the soil before re-turfing. What sort of person would I need to employ? Would it just be a gardener or would I have to get a ground worker? Thanks.

A gardener or garden landscaper, I would have thought. Groundworkers tend to do things like building walls and laying patios etc.

Landscaper as they'll need access to plant such as a small digger etc.
Gardeners generally won't have access to the equipment for it
