Have I killed my lavender?

I pruned my lavender at the start of this month and it's still only got silvery green leaves, I can't really see any new growth. I know I should have done it at the end of summer. Now I'm wondering if I have killed it. This is how it looks.

A close up, does anyone else's lavender look similar? It's glorious in the summer when it's in bloom so I really hope I haven't killed it.

No, he’s fine. That’s how they look this time of year.
Possibly getting a bit old and woody. I shape mine in the early spring, never been a problem.

They always finish up woody and sometimes need replacing in the end.

I think it is a couple of years old, might have to consider replacing it next year.

It's fine. Mine looks just like that, and so do my neighbour's ones in his front garden.
