A 50ft garden with not a lot at the back (except a couple of trees in a neighbouring property). What are our chances of getting sun and can we grow a lawn?!

Yes you will get a lot of sun. We have similar and with nothing blocking it to the west you will get afternoon and evening sun. Our grass is lovely.

Same here, we get afternoon sun right up to the back door.

Phew! Thanks. I can’t imagine no sunshine. It would be totally depressing.

We built decking, pergola etc up the end of the garden, which is lovely as it’s away from neighbours and quiet.

Loads of afternoon sunshine. A lawn will be fine.
