It's growing in our small front garden and I'm assuming the old owners planted it. I checked online and it showed garlic or onion or something similar but I have no idea why there would be a singular vegetable growing so I'm assuming it's something else.

Has it just grown? Tulip?

This is what I thought.

It's possibly Wild Garlic brought by birds.

looks like blind tulip leaves to me

Rosemaryandlavender1 · 23/03/2025 08:34

There are daffodils growing on one side and a handful of crocuses also popped up so I'm more inclined to think it's a tulip

Wild garlic leaves are shinier and smaller than that. I think it's a tulip.

Definitely a tulip - sometimes the bulbs are ‘blind’ which means there’s leaves but no flowers.

wild garlic leaves are thinnner - and you’d also smell if it was wild garlic, there’s a distinct aroma even before it flowers.
