Does anyone pot up theirs and start off inside before planting out after last frost and have you started yet?

I did this one year, but I had loads of them and it was a pain. They grew quite big before I could get them out, so they took up loads of room. I lost a load one year so now have several I just keep in big planters, I got them out of the cold frame last week when I was tricked by the gorgeous sun we were having.

I have a few dahlias jumbo plugs arriving on Monday, I will keep them indoors in pots for a while as it’s a variety I’ve been trying to get hold of for a couple of years and I want to make sure they make it.

Mine are potted up in the greenhouse under bubble wrap to save them from potential frost

I potted mine up two weeks ago and they’re in various windowsills as I don’t have a greenhouse or cold frame.

Of the three fresh tubers I got from Farmer Gracey this year two of them have shoots already!

I received my order, I didn't need, this week.and have over 25( not be be let loose on a website with anything plant related)to plant. I'm starting them off in pots inthe conservatory so the slugs don't decimate them. I leave mine in the ground, cover with straw, carpet tile& brick, most come back.

I did accidentally leave a tuber in its pot outside (I only have patio space and everything is in containers) so I’m interested to see how/if it survives.

I start mine on my birthday (end of March) in the greenhouse before planting out in mid May.
