Sarah Raven Garden - visit ?

I am thinking of taking DH to see the dahlias here - his particular favourite - it's quite a way from us so a very long day trip or overnight stay required ,

So I'm wondering if anyone has been and is it worth it ?

When are you thinking of going?

I think the dahlia open is in September, early ones are roses etc

I’ve been and enjoyed it, although the garden is not massive. We went in Spring during the tulip season. Sarah was there chatting to people. The surrounding countryside is really beautiful and there are lots of walks you can do.

Just had to look where it was. It’s very, very far from us too…
