Dug it out of the garden, don’t recall anything growing there last year. It looks like ginger but I scratched and sniffed and it doesn’t smell like ginger! It’s starting to sprout at the top. My plant is all was no good, telling me it’s a fungi but I’m fairly sure it’s a root of some sort!
