What are your favourites?

Gwendoline. I grow this variety every year.

"A heavily scented ‘Spencer’ type with large, frilly pink blooms. The long stems make it ideal for exhibitions and cutting."

I love Castlewellan and Our Harry best, but I tend to grow six or seven varieties each year in the blue/purple/pale pink/cream colour scheme.

This year I'm trying Erewhon in the mix, which looks beautiful.

I forgot about Our Harry - that's another favourite of mine! Seems I like highly scented large flowers best... 😊

Matucana, Cupani. Highly scented old fashioned bi-colours, but smaller flowers. I usually mix them with other scented old fashioned bicolours in paler colours.

Earl Grey, Erewhon, Lord Nelson, Cupani.
