Is this a rambling rose? Do you know its type?

I may go for marigolds in my circular flowefbed again this year, but this rose in a nearby neighbour's garden caught my eye.

I always have difficulty with roses, distinguishing between bush roses and shrub roses, and the one I bought from David Austin didn't exactly stun with numerous blooms.

Can anyone identify this one? It sort of spreads out to fill the flowerbed, it doesn't reach high, it can't be a shrub... This picture was taken in autumn last year I think, the blooms seem to last a while.

Looks like it could be Gertrude Jekyll

It’s a polyantha shrub rose, they are called names like Flower carpet amber, Ballerina, Bonica , the fairy. They are an ideal garden rose, easy to prune, compact, disease resisted and flower for a long time.

If it was an actual rambler, it would have taken over the grass as well by now!

Agree one of the Flower Carpet or possibly County series roses.
