Making Xmas wreath

Posted on the Xmas board too and have had a few replies but would be good to hear from the gardeners who use things from their garden or gathered on walks.

We have a conifer and eucalyptus tree and I usually use these along with foraged holly/berries.

Would like to make it a bit more interesting and wonder what else I can use?

Pine cones, cinnamon sticks, dried orange slices

I made mine this year! You can use all manner of things you've collected.

I quite like ivy berries and flowers. I did a whole wreath with just them one year and it was really nice.

Variegated ivy, white Pernettya (Gaultheria) berries. Silver sprayed leaf or seedhead (like Chinese lanterns) skeletons. Rosemary as an alternative foliage

Thanks for all your suggestions. I must confess that I can’t recall ever seeing ivy berries 😬 but I will go looking.

@K0OLA1D - that’s a lovely big wreath!

Rosemary also works well.
Too late for this year but if you have hydrangeas they can be preserved in autumn. The dark pink ones look lovely.
