How would you plant these 500 bulbs?

I have taken delivery of a bag of bulbs and would appreciate advice on how and when to plant them

•	Allium 'Azureum' (50 Bulbs)
•	Allium moly (75 Bulbs)
•	Anemone 'Blanda Mix' (100 Bulbs)
•	Ranunculus Mixed (200 Bulbs)
•	Ixia Mixed (50 Bulbs)
•	Scilla 'Siberica' (25 Bulbs)

I've got limited flower bed space so pots probably for most of them but how many can I put in at once and which ones do I layer and how?
Also do I plant them all now or do some have to wait for spring?

i bought one of these to attach to a drill when planting lots of alliums a few years ago - made it very easy.

not sure about the others which i think are smaller. Did you get any instructions? I would look up on-line - it might be easier to plant small ones in pots and plant them out in spring as you would a small plant.

In a pot you should plant the biggest bulbs lowest and then layer them up, there are lots of tutorials online. You'd probably want some snowdrops as well though to have a longer display. Boston Bulbs have a calculator for how many bulbs you need, but it looks like you've got enough of each for about 1m2, maybe less. All should be planted out asap, they need the cold over the winter.

The rhs has the most advice on different species so just google what they say but basically the bigger the bulb the deeper it has to be planted.
