Can I plant ranunculus bulbs in pots now and leave outside for the winter? I’m in a warm spot in London. But I’ve heard they are unreliable/ not hardy.

Any experience planting them in pots in autumn?

thank you

Thank you, that’s helpful. I might get a few and see how they go…

They can be put out in pots, but any leaves that have sprouted can be damaged by frost, so you might want to cover them on cold nights.

Maybe keep some corms back to plant in February anyway.
