Houseplant recommendations

Hello

I'm trying to add more greenery around the home, especially living room we have a north facing living room which does get some light as downstairs is all open plan, I'm a keen gardener but don't have best of luck with houseplants, I like them to look a little wild and wonderful they cant be floor plants need to be for shelves, I basically need a.plant that isn't to fussy etc

Pothos all the way. I have two in my son's North facing rooms, they thrive on neglect, and go all long and jungly. Look at the different types - golden is nice!

Spider plants-they just keep growing! And they produce babies so you can get more plants for free. Also Pothos / devils ivy, again you can propagate it easily.

Agree- and so easy to propagate once they start looking tatty.

Parlour palms are great and also Boston Fern. I have both in a North facing room and other than remembering to water every couple of weeks and the occasional wash of leaves under the tap for the fern have required little else and are thriving
