Plant for north-facing garden?

Hi all, can anyone advise on plants that will happily live on the windowsill of a north facing garden?
It does get some sun during summer months.

TIA for any help.

Indoor plants for a windowsill OP? Because it will be well lit but not hot and sunny you probably have quite a lot of choice. Sanseveiria (snake plants) are pretty much bulletproof, have interesting foliage, and are quite upright if the sill is not that deep.

Do you mean inside or an outside window box?

Hi, sorry, realised my initial post was badly worded!

its an internal windowsill in a north facing bathroom.

I've got spider plants on mine, all from one original plant

Peace Lily? Will appreciate the moisture and doesn;t like direct sun anyway...

I tried that, mine didn't like it - too bright, it recovered when I put it back where it had been before well away from a window.
