Started the plot last year, it's been left unused since probably october time and I've been thinking of starting to plant a few things but the cat has been shiteing in it.

What do I do? How can I stop him? Is it safe to plant stuff?

No advice, but bumping because I have the same problem!

oh I know the answer to this one but just can't remember it which is very very annoying. There is something that cats don't like, orange peel and pepper or something like that.
Actually I am not being very helpful am I.

chicken wire, that's what we;ve put over ours, but not sure what we will do when we put the seeds in and they start to grow

Ooo I have this same problem too with next doors cats...Im thinking dig out all the poo and put new top soil in it but I was wondering if it would be safe doing that so "Bump" if anyone does the best way to deal with it.

Hi
Re-visiting this thread, in case anyone has any further ideas. I garden organically but cat poo is a tad too organic for me! They are our cats too. I'm trying gravel around the plants so that no soil is exposed. Any other thoughts?

Ours is quite small so we've fenced it with garden canes and fruit netting (and some pegs off the washing line!). Seems to be working as our cat is a bit rubbish at jumping and has to use the top of the fence/gate she's jumping as some kind of reference point. Can't do that with fruit netting as it'll give way beneath her so it's working so far! On the downside she is now leaving piles of shite all over the lawn

Shall try netting if the gravel doesn't work. Seems to have put them off today, though it is pouring down!
