Climbing Roses

I planted two climbing roses which I want to grow to cover the brick walls but how do I get them to grow on the wall? Do I need to put some kind of supports in? If so what would I use?

Might seem a silly question but I just can’t seem to figure it out in my brain and they’re growing lots but I’m worried I’ll ruin them if I don’t get some kind of structure in place!

Yes you’ll need support for them. A popular option are vine eyes + wire. You need to get the tensioning bits to get the wire taut otherwise it sags. Another option would be trellis although less long lasting, assuming wood or some natural material. You would need to affix that to the wall. From there you train the rose canes in a fan shape, with the canes tied along the wires or trellis horizontally. I hope that made sense.
