Jasmine has been in a pot waiting to be planted out but haven't had a chance to prepare the bit it's going into yet. It's looking very sorry for itself after being a bit neglected over the summer, and I'm not sure if I should just try to pamper it a bit or if it would be okay planting it in the ground now? Should I wait until spring?

Put it in the ground now, while there is still a month or two for it to grow some roots and get established. It will be better off in the ground over the winter anyway, as the soil will help to protect the roots from frosts.
