I have a fig 'tree' and an apple 'tree' (both small), and a new leaf has popped up on the fig and maybe four or five on the apple, which have this sort of white residue on. It looks powdery, but when you touch it, it feels waxy and it doesn't wipe off the leaf.
Any ideas what it might be?
Disclaimer - I'm new to gardening so am very much learning through the baptism of fire route (the slugs, good lord!), any help is much appreciated.
