To my intense delight, a common spotted orchid decided to move into the pot of Casablanca lilies this year.
what do I do to keep her alive and thriving ? I've literally left the flower to wither on the stem as I was too worried about killing her off to touch it. Just one flower spike this year.
id love to have them rampaging through the lawn however Dh is far too fond of the mower for that to happen, I practically have to prostrate myself over the wild primroses that live in the lawn every time he mows. He'd have a fit if I filled the lawn with orchids 🫣
