Log Edging - anyone have it?

I need to edge our Borders so I can get on and plant my new Lawn. I have seen some Log edging in Argos which seems a bit of a Bargain but I am worried it will be rotten this time next year or collapse

Any comments or recommendations for something else? I don't want to use stone.

We have had it for years - here and in old house and it is fine - see if cheaper at garden centre though!

it's quite hard to put in place cos you have to dig a trench to put it in then. It's not just a case of pushing it in.

Thanks Twinkie1 and Furball - I have checked it out in the Garden centres and it is more expensive. I thought the "push it in" thing was too good to be true
