Hi, I’m not a great gardener but I do my best. We have moved into a new house and I’ve inherited some plants. Can anyone identify them please? None have any flowers (at the moment).

The middle one is winter jasmine, it should have yellow flowers in winter.

Not 100% sure but the first one might be Kerria - has yellow pompom flowers in spring. The last might be a passion flower? Or more likely an akebia?

Thank you! I like the idea of them flowering. I always prefer some colour in the garden

Agree jasmine, prob. Winter jasmine. Think Akebia rather than passion flower. Passion flower leaves are more pointed. I think first one has dead remains of tall spikes of flowers. It isn’t Kerria, leaves not toothed

The middle one is winter jasmine.

I first thought the last one was choisya-it’s the same colour as mine, but looking closer, I don’t think it is.

The leaves bottom centre of the first picture look a bit like a hydrangea but the rest of it doesn’t really!

It’s got five leaflets not 3 like choisya

The last one is akebia quinata, probably my favourite climber.
