Poo in my garden

I have no pets but have been finding poo in my garden (my garden is completely closed off so no neighbours pets can come in) I think it’s far too big to belong to a cat as beside my foot it’s massive. I’ve no clue how to avoid this as I have a 1 year old and hate letting her out in case she comes across it. Any ideas? Thanks ☺️

Looks like fox poo, maybe?

What is your garden boundary secured with?

NanTheWiser · 23/07/2024 20:49

Fox very likely. I often get fox poos on my lawn.

Yep fox. We get loads in a corner of my horses field near a den where we've seen cubs. Yard owners dog likes rolling in it.

Don’t underestimate the size of cat poo! Could easily be a cat.

It looks very much like fox poo to me, but my last cat produced truly enormous poos - almost human sized - so I wouldn't rule a cat out.

Roses - Summer pruning

I've noticed that some of my roses have 7 leaves on their stems. Do I prune to these or go lower until I find a 5 leaf stem. I have checked, they are not suckers (DA roses). Any idea?
