Yes that is Fat Hen. It is edible. But mostly considered a weed.

When I was a head gardener we had a lady who would give us money for it, but I'd give it to her for free. Use it like spinach.

Do try it as spinach. It and its cousins are the best of the things touted as spinach substitute, and their seeds are sold as such. Magentaspreen is a close relative

Good old Fat Hen!

I knew it as goosefoot, my MIL said lamb's quarters and my friend called it pigweed, so it's got a name relating to pretty much any farm animal you can think off.

Handy in a curry as a spinach replacement.
