Peony's

Can anyone tell me if I can pick the seeds where the peony flowered this year and would they grow for next year?

I think you'd need to leave them a bit longer to ripen. The plants would probably not flower next year, it might take a while, and the flowers may be a different colour or shade from the one you're taking the seed from. Worth a try though.

This is quite good on growing peonies from seed

Now I'm annoyed I've dead headed my peonys!
