Can anyone identify this plant that’s growing in my yard? I’m googling it but cannot find anything. The one with the long narrow leaves. Thanks!

I’m pretty sure it’s a weed but it would not be the first time I pull out a perennial that died over winter and I didn’t recognise when it came back….

It could be night scented stock. When in flower if it has a heavenly smell in the evening, that's a good bet.

But it could be a weed!

Looks like it could be Willowherb.

Could possibly be one of the willowherbs, in which case it will have small pale pink flowers with four petals and a cream stigma in the centre of the flower.

It does look like a willow herb, thank you! Should I get rid of it?

I would. Quite therapeutic pulling it up

Entirely up to you. It self seeds itself around with enthusiasm, the flowers aren’t showy, and it may have runners.
